Gullbekken Studio

Welcome to Gullbekken. A professional recording studio and working space/residency for musicians, writers, painters or artists of any kind.

The studio was originally a family cabin from the early 1970s and was renovated and rebuilt for music and artistic creation in 2016. Gullbekken Studio is located in the heart of Finnskogen, the wild forest with bears and wolves patrolling the Swedish border, just 1 hour and 45 minutes from Oslo by car or public transportation.

The studio has a great collection of vintage equipment and instruments. Gullbekken is run by musician, songwriter and producer Egil Arntzen.

Gullbekken is both a recording studio and a retreat with a guesthouse/working space for writers, painters or artists of any kind.

We offer recording, producing, mixing, audio editing, reamping and also video production.
